Weekly Crop Report 2015 (ETA-estimated time of arrival)

  • Week 52

    The last volumes of 2015 arrived in the different destinations, completing 14,723 tons, considering the shipments that left on week 49. Week 52 contributed to the total volume with 61.17 tons delivered by air and 10.8 tons that correspond to the sea shipments of week 48.

  • Week 51

    A total of 196.7 tons arrived in destination, out of which 30.8 were from week 47 and arrived by sea. Argentina’s total considering the 85.8 tons that will arrive on the first week of January 2016 amounts to 14,662 tons.

  • Week 50

    The harvest is getting to its end for the Argentine season with 283.64 tons delivered by air to the different markets. So far, 14,380 tons have been exported which, together with next week’s volumes and those from prior weeks that will arrive by sea will amount to 14,600 tons. The US received 65 % of the shipments, whereas 30% was received by Europe, 3.5% by Canada, and the rest corresponds to other destinations.

  • Week 49

    Argentina is finishing its season with the last weeks of shipments. So far, our country has delivered some 14,212 tons of fresh fruit, considering air and sea shipments. It is estimated that the end of the season could be close to the 14,600 tons. On week 49, the different destinations received a total of 761.44 tons, out of which 127.1 correspond to sea shipments of week 45. The US received 530.36 tons, Europe received 185.20 altogether, Canada 30.97 and Asia 14.9. In addition, 75 tons are expected to arrive by sea during the first week of the year.

  • Week 48

    This week the markets have received 972.06 tons of Argentine blueberries, 921 by air and 50 by sea. In addition, on week 51 a total of 10.8 tons will arrive by sea. The US heads the list of importers with 649.7 tons, followed by Continental Europe with 149.74 tons and the UK with 118.8 tons, 30 tons Canada and 23.7 tons Asia and other destination s. There’s little left of the 2015 harvest, and it is estimated that, altogether, the season may amount to around 14,000 tons for the whole country.
