The cold weather continues and Argentine fruit is delivered as the weather allows.
A total of 710 tons of blueberries arrived at the different markets, 473.7 tons of which were received in the US, 116.3 tons in the UK, 79.5 tons in the EU, 29.5 tons in Canada and 7 tons in Asia. Air shipments from Benjamín Matienzo Ariport in Tucumán amounted to 215 tons. The ABC rectifies its estimate and states that due to the climatic effects, the Argentine production will be reduced by about 12% over the 2014 campaign, and will be able to reach the 14,500 tons as a country total.
