APAMA took stock of the current crop

Argentine blueberry exports have already exceeded 3000 tons of early fruit, of which 70% comes from NOA, while the rest of the NEA.

Already after the 2014 peak season and about to end the activity in the region, Apama reported that until October, exports of blueberries in Argentina, including all regions were tn 10682. Between weeks 35 and 41 of the harvest, 200% fruit early in 2011, confirming the projections on investments in the exported varietal replacement.

The Blueberry Producers Association of Mesopotamia Argentina, released a report stating that, until the end of October (week 44), blueberry exports from Argentina (all regions combined) reached the 10682 tn.

According to the document, the distribution of volume among the different locations was 60% US, 31% Europe, 4.5% Canada, 3.4% Asian and other.
In the letter, Apama also includes a report by the Argentine Blueberry Committee (ABC) committee ratifies projections about investments in varietal turnover in various regions of the country.

Thus, it can be seen that between weeks 35 and 41 of the 2014 harvest 200% fruit early in 2011. The total was 3900 tons, exported to the following destinations are exported: 52.7 US, Europe 34.6%, Canada 6.3%, 4.6% Asian and other.

The origin of this early fruit corresponds to 70% to 30% NOA and the NEA.
