Argentina was present at the International Blueberries Convention organized by the IBO.

The conference was a total success and it is a fact that the worldwide production will keep growing in  the next years. However, the arrival of new competitors is evident, as well as the fact that the negotiating power of purchasers is much stronger than the negotiating power of suppliers. This has an impact on prices, therefore, a differentiation strategy on behalf of the players is necessary. We have also observed the growth of costs and health and technical barriers to enter various markets, especially in Asia.
