South Africa to send first blueberries to UK

The IDEP Tucumán (Institute of Production Development of Tucumán) reported that was departed the first flight with blueberries from Airport Benjamin Matienzo.
“Dole Chile” decided to grow up and enter the blueberries export market from 2014. Shipments of this fruit could range from 800,000 to one million kg and the goal for the company is at least triple that figure in three years.
The total volume exported in the week was 96,193 kg (96 ton). It is estimated that at the beginning of the current week 39, about 250 tons of fruit will leave the country, and another 400 tons in the first days of the week 40.
The company is one of the largest exporters of blueberries from Argentina and the one with higher trajectory. We share a visit to their packing and an interview with the directors.
