South Africa to send first blueberries to UK
The first fruit was harvested in May, but due to frost in the north of the country the season has started later than normal.
Tucumán sent the first flight with blueberries to USA
The IDEP Tucumán (Institute of Production Development of Tucumán) reported that was departed the first flight with blueberries from Airport Benjamin Matienzo.
Chilean company enters blueberries business
“Dole Chile” decided to grow up and enter the blueberries export market from 2014. Shipments of this fruit could range from 800,000 to one million kg and the goal for the company is at least triple that figure in three years.

The total volume exported in the week was 96,193 kg (96 ton). It is estimated that at the beginning of the current week 39, about 250 tons of fruit will leave the country, and another 400 tons in the first days of the week 40.
