In order to advance the opening of the Chinese market blueberry, the country received the delegation of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China.

On Monday, the commission – integrated by Engineer Rirong He, Director of the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Guangdong; Xing Meng, Sub-director of the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Sichuan; and Xinxing Wang, Division Sub-director of the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Shandong; and Agricultural Engineers Adriana Ceriani and Lisandro Millán of SENASA -started its tour through the fields and packing plants of Tucuman and Salta.
During the first hours of Monday afternoon, they visited the establishment Tierra de Arándanos to finish at Greenpack’s packing and freezing plant. On Tuesday, after holding a meeting at Estación Experimental Agroindustrial Obispo Colombres (EEAOC), the group travelled to Metán, in the province of Salta, where they visited the fields and facilities of Extraberries.
Today, Wednesday, the team of technicians will head for the area of Lima, where they will visit the packing plant of Berries del Plata and the fields of Finca El Roble, and on Thursday they will tour in Pacheco Dodero the facilities of Ezeiza International Airport and SENASA’s laboratory.
On Friday, the negotiation meeting will be held to move on with the blueberries exports protocol to the Popular Republic of China.
