The 2015 Season started auspiciously for the production and export of Argentine blueberries.

The last estimations, based on our forecasts and direct information from ABC exporters, show a 5% increase over the 2014 volume of exports, where the total exports amount to 16,232 tons.

It is worth mentioning that plantations are developing in normal conditions and that a big size and optimum taste fruit is expected.

During week 37 we will present our usual pre-season report with the latest news regarding the crop phenology and the weather, with total estimations by region for the season. This year, we will inform our estimates in a different way, adjusting the volumes to 4 weeks before the harvest. As every year, season reports will be done as from week 38.
